Project One: A Paranormal Romance
I'm just starting my first paranormal novel, like literally. I have the prologue complete, and am diving in to the first few chapters. Much of it is sketched out, the first parts anyway. I have many ideas but have not flushed everything out yet. Based on advice from those close to me, I am jumping in and will let the characters and story tell me where it goes. I don't think I've ever written a novel where I knew fully where it would go, so I'm trusting the story will guide me.
What I can tell you, is the story revolves around Jaden Mills, 23, of San Diego and Taylor Hasler, 24, of Newport Beach. A fateful Maui trip brings these two guys together, and it is there they experience the force that will forever change them.
Project Two: Book Five in the 221 Sunset Series
There are two characters in this series that we have all met a lot, and we care about, but we do not know their continuing stories. I'm referring specifically to Micah and Asher. This one is tentatively titled "Lonely Boys" and it will be my first novel to simultaneously tell two stories in one book.
I expect this one will pick up later in the series, and it will of course still include the found family brotherhood that is the foundation of The Boys of 221 Sunset series. I'm still experimenting with the exact way to bring this one to you. It will likely alternate chapters though. Stay tuned to find out.
